Ultra Anchor Ring
Polished stainless steel two in one anchor buddy and emergency recovery tool.
The Ultra Ring from Ultra Marine offers two functions in one, and anchor buddy, also known as an angel, chum, sentinel or kellet for reducing anchor chain scope in tight anchorages and light to medium wind speeds and an anchor recovery tool in case the anchor becomes fouled.
In both cases the Ultra Ring is easily attached to the chain through the opening and allowed to slide down the chain.
Emergency Anchor Recovery Tool
Thanks to the polished stainless steel design the Ultra Ring easily slides down the chain and over the shank of the anchor. By pulling on the line in the opposite direction to the chain, the anchor can be pulled free form obstacles, significantly increasing the possibilities of retrieval. Essential when conditions are not suitable for entering the water or when visibility is limited.

The Ultra Anchor Ring allows shorter scope by reducing the chain length required for safe anchoring. Particularly useful in cases of limited anchorage area and light to medium wind speeds. The Ultra Ring increases safety by adding weight (8.2 kg - 14.5 kg) to to the chain and reduces the vessel swing area and works as a shock absorber, improving comfort at anchor by reducing boat movement.
Available in three sizes to suit chain from 6 mm to 13 mm.
