Standard Horizon
Standard Horizon is the marine radio brand of Yaesu, the Japanese radio maker, which acquired it in 1999. Its range covers fixed and handheld VHF radios, loud hailers and the accessories that go with them.
Standard Horizon radios and accessories for sale include:
- The Eclipse GX1400GPS/E fixed VHF with DSC and GPS
- The HX210E floating handheld VHF with FM radio
- The MH-73A4B submersible speaker microphone
- The 240SW horn/loudspeaker, a waterproof remote speaker and the MMB-97 flush mounting kit
Drop the HX210E overboard and it floats face up, with a strobe light that switches on automatically in the water, even when the radio is off.
