Hose clips are small parts with a big job on board, holding the hoses on engines, seacocks and plumbing. JCS Hi-Torque, a hose clamp manufacturer in Sudbury, Suffolk, makes its Hi-Grip worm-drive clips to exceed BS5315, with BSI Kitemark and NATO approval. Hi-Grip comes in 304 (A2) 18/8 stainless and in 316 (A4), which is Lloyd's Register Type Approved, and the company's Lloyd's Register approval also covers sealing marine wet diesel exhausts. For wire-reinforced hose, the heavy-duty Hi-Torque clamps have no loose parts.
