Whale's roots go back to Munster Simms, established in 1810. The company made brass bilge pumps for the Royal Navy from 1939, and Whale has built manual bilge pumps since 1940; its Gusher range is the best known. Today Whale covers a boat's water systems from bow to stern, from bilge pumps to fresh water and waste.
