Speedfit
Speedfit is the push-fit plumbing system from John Guest. Joints go together and come apart in seconds, with no tools and no hot work, handy in tight lockers.
For the fresh water system, choose from parts such as:
- White flexible PEX barrier pipe, sold by the metre or in 3, 6 and 25 m packs
- 15 mm straight, T and elbow connectors: push the pipe fully home, then twist the nut to lock it
- 1/2" straight and bent tap connectors, a hose connector and a DZR brass male connector
- A plastic pipe cutter, pipe clips and Superseal pipe inserts
The connectors suit plastic or copper pipe. Keep a few 15 mm end stops aboard: cut out a leaking section and push one on to cap it.
