FastFind
After activating a distress beacon, the hardest part is not knowing whether anyone has received the alert. The FastFind PLB with Return Link settles that question with a small blue light.
Key details include:
- Return Link confirmation through the Galileo system
- Galileo and GPS positioning, accurate to less than 100 m
- 406 MHz alert and 121.5 MHz homing signals for over 24 hours
- Three-stage manual activation and a high-intensity strobe
The blue light flashes once the Galileo system has received the alert and detected the beacon's position. Smaller than a mobile phone, it needs no subscription, is waterproof to 10 m and works down to -20 °C. A floating pouch, a belt clip and a lifejacket inflation tube clip are supplied, and the price includes registration if required.
