Ultra Flip Swivel Anchor Connector
The worlds most advanced anchor swivel connector manufactured from solid machined hand polished 316 stainless steel for maximum strength and corrosion protection.
We have all seen it before, just as the anchor reaches the bow roller perfectly aligned, as though affected by an invisible force, it rotates by 90° or 180° degrees and ends up sideways or upside down, just at the wrong moment.
The Ultra Flip Swivel anchor connector by Ultra Marine is the solution. The ingenious design including the Flip Nub and the ball and socket with internal Teflon O-ring, ensures the anchor always enters the bow roller correctly. Both the body and swivel are machined from solid stainless steel, the hexagonal bolts and the rear bridge ensure strength is not an issue, in fact, the Ultra Flip Swivel is stronger than the chain itself. The Flip Swivel is also slimline with rounded corners to avoid damage to the boat and bow roller.
Features:
1. One piece body and swivel head for maximum strength
Both the body and swivel head (including the spherical ball) are machined from solid stainless steel and not cast, ensuring not only maximum strength but eliminating any crevices and therefore possible corrosion.
2. Semi Spherical Loose Ball design with Teflon O-ring
The ball and socket allow the swivel to pivot up to 30° and rotate by 360º. The loose design of the ball allows self cleaning, avoiding clogs with sediment and the internal teflon O-ring reduces metal friction when under load for smooth operation.
3. Hexagonal Head Bolts
The hexagonal head locking bolt cannot release unintentionally, therefore eliminating the need for lock pins or safety wires.
4. Flip Nub & Rear Bridge
If the anchor is recovered up-side down the Flip Nub will assist the anchor to correctly right itself onto the roller while the Rear Bridge supports the anchor during rotation.
5. Slimline design with rounded corners
Avoid potential damage to bow or bow roller during anchor recovery.
6. Throat Opening
Specifically designed for the chain size The opening is specially suited to the chain size.
7. Specifications
The swivel chain size and breaking strength is recorded on the rear side of the swivel.
All Ultra Flip Swivels have a standard three year warranty.
