West System Hardener for use with West System 105 Epoxy resin.

West System 207 Special Coating Hardener has been developed for coating where an clear finish is required (207 Special Coating will still have a yellow colour when used with thicker coatings or layers). Additionally, 207 Hardener is amine blush free and has a UV inhibitor. West System 105/207 can be be applied by roller and tipping method achieving a smooth finish requiring little sanding. Excellent wet out characteristics also make 207 a great choice for both sheathing over wood where a natural finish is required as well as a structural adhesive for gluing and laminating. West System 105/207 has excellent compatibility with paints and varnish.

West System is the highest quality marine epoxy resin essential for strong and long-lasting repairs, modifications or construction anywhere onboard. West epoxy is known and respected worldwide and is easy to use and is one of the strongest marine epoxy systems available. Can be used with all West System fillers and thickeners for a multitude of jobs onboard from wetting out, adhesion, bonding, filling and fairing, osmosis repair and prevention and many others.

At 25°C a 100 g mixture of West System 105/205 hardener typically has a pot life of 10 to 15 minutes and for coating applications, recoating time is between 60 to 70 mins. A good choice for working in colder temperatures.


Available in 0.2 kg, 1 kg and 5 kg metal tins.
