Actisense
Actisense, based in Poole in the south of England, specialises in NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 data networks. Its products are designed by its own in-house team.
Network parts in stock range across:
- The A2K-KIT-1 starter kit, a first network for two devices, with room to grow
- A2K-TDC micro cables from 25 cm to 10 m, the A2K-MPT-1 power cable and the A2K-GC gender changer
- The A2K-T-MFF T-piece and the A2K-4WT four-way T-piece for connecting extra devices
- The NGW-1 gateway, which converts NMEA 0183 to NMEA 2000 and back, and the NGT-1-USB interface for PC software such as OpenCPN
With the gateway, newer NMEA 2000 instruments share data with NMEA 0183 units already fitted, without replacing them.
