Ronstan Orbit Ball Bearing Block™ - Single Dyneema® Link Block with Becket
Ronstan Ball Bearing Orbit Blocks™ feature the unique orbital version of the Ronstan 2 stage bearing system. Recirculating ball bearings are positioned exclusively in the loaded area of the sheave and a second full contact bearing maintains low friction across the full working load range. Combined with composite reinforced polymer materials, Orbit Blocks™ offer maximum strength to weight ratio for high load and dynamic applications.
Ronstan Orbit Dyneema® Link blocks feature a soft loop manufactured from high-grade SK78 fibre, the Dyneema® link is easily fitted and secured by the moulded retainer clip. The flexible link allows limited articulation in a 0° or 90° orientation and maximum weight saving. Soft attachment blocks also reduce noise onboard and avoid damage to other fittings.
Built-in Becket - Dyneema® link blocks with becket have low profile moulded check plates optimized for use with the through sheave becket system, ultra low profile and light weight.
Dyneema Link blocks are recommended for the following applications:
- Mainsheet and Spinnaker sheet systems¹
- Halyard, vang and backstay applications²
- Control lines on larger boats
