Considered by many to be the best VHF antenna in the world, the Metz Manta-6 is used exclusively by the US Coast Guard as well as Search and Rescue operations in the UK. With a stainless steel whip (replaceable in the event of damage) and body and a coil which is guaranteed for life the Manta-6 ensures years of reliability. Ideal choice for both VHF and AIS the Manta-6 has 3 dB gain ideal for marine use and especially masthead installations with a very low SWR (loss) of less than 1.2:1 and does not require a ground plane. Features a standard SO239 socket for easy installation and removal and a galvanised bracket.
