Gleistein Geolink® Soft Shackle Dyneema® SK78
Manufactured from 12 braid Dyneema® SK78 with Geothane coating.®
Geolink soft shackles are not only incredible strong and light but can be attached and opened quickly without tools. An ideal lightweight replacement for traditional stainless shackles with a number of advantages.
- Self-locking under load but easy to open by hand without tools.
- Incredibly light, a fraction of the weight of stainless shackles and buoyant.
- No damage to paintwork or gelcoat, no rust stains and no rattles or squeeks.
- Very low stretch (0.6% at 10% of the breaking load) and flexible allowing natural articulation.
- Waterproof with outstanding abrasion and UV resistance.
- Environmentally friendly, made from bio-based Dyneema®.
Ideal alternative for securing halyards & sheets, attaching blocks to toe rails or padeyes, jib sheet clew attachment and many other uses onboard.
Available in diameters from 4 mm to 18 mm with workloads from 450 kg to 5,000 kg.
Sold each (4 mm model sold in pairs).
