Bring compatible analogue engine information onto an NMEA 2000 display with the Actisense EMU-1. It digitises sender and gauge signals so that useful older engines can be monitored without replacing them solely to obtain digital data.
Choose the parameters needed — Six gauge/parameter inputs, four alarm inputs and two tacho inputs support a configured selection of engine measurements. The available inputs are shared across the installation.
One or two engines — A single unit can monitor up to two engines sharing a common ground, within its input limits. Use additional units when more individual parameters are required.
Configuration is essential — Every EMU-1 must be configured for its senders and installation using Actisense Toolkit and a compatible PC-to-NMEA 2000 interface. An NGX-1 is a separate required interface for the documented configuration route.
Engine-hours information — Two engine-hour logs are linked to the tacho inputs and are recorded when RPM is present. Sender and display compatibility must be checked before installation.

Fitting
Follow the exact manufacturer wiring/configuration instructions. Verify supply, connector pinout and system compatibility before applying power.
Maintenance
Inspect connectors and strain relief, keep seals correctly fitted and disconnect power before wiring work. Where firmware applies, use the manufacturer update procedure for this model.
FAQ
Does it work without configuration? — No. Sender characteristics and installation parameters must be set for each installation.
Is USBKIT-PRO the required cable? — No. Use the documented PC-to-NMEA 2000 gateway route, such as NGX-1, with Toolkit. USBKIT-PRO is not the EMU-1 configuration substitute.
Will one unit measure everything on two engines? — Not necessarily. The six parameter, four alarm and two tacho inputs limit the available measurements. Plan the allocation before ordering.
Can it replace a depth-transducer interface? — No. It is an engine monitoring interface, not an equivalent replacement for the legacy DST-2 depth/speed/temperature unit.
