Actisense WGX-1-ISO NMEA 0183 / NMEA 2000 Wi-Fi Gateway
Connect wired NMEA 0183 instruments, an NMEA 2000 network and compatible wireless navigation software with the Actisense WGX-1-ISO. Its isolated ISO connection and Wi-Fi interface support conversion or transfer applications, selected to suit the installation.
Keep useful instruments — Convert supported data bidirectionally between NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 instead of replacing every legacy sensor. Check the conversion list for the messages needed by your equipment.
Protected serial connection — An OPTO-isolated input and ISO-Drive output provide the wired interface. Match the electrical standard, wiring and baud rate to the connected instrument.
Wireless instrument data — Stream compatible data using TCP or UDP to suitable software. Access-point and client operation allow different onboard Wi-Fi layouts.
Diagnostics and recording — Actisense-i helps inspect the NMEA 2000 network. An optional microSD card enables voyage-data recording; it is not supplied.

Maintenance
Inspect connectors and strain relief, keep seals correctly fitted and disconnect power before wiring work. Where firmware applies, use the manufacturer update procedure for this model.
FAQ
Is it the same as W2K-2? — No. The WGX-1-ISO also has an integrated wired ISO interface for compatible NMEA 0183 equipment.
Does every NMEA 0183 sentence convert? — Use the current official conversion list to confirm the required messages. Matching connectors alone do not establish message compatibility.
Can it configure an EMU-1? — Actisense identifies WGX-1 as a suitable interface for Toolkit-compatible products. Use the operating mode and software specified for the connected device.
Is a memory card supplied? — No. A compatible card is required separately if voyage logging is needed.
