The Icom IC-M430E is a compact fixed marine VHF radio with built-in Class D DSC, a GNSS receiver and NMEA 2000 connectivity. Its slim body, colour TFT display and MFD-style flush mounting suit modern helm layouts where panel space and depth are limited.
It transmits at 25 W or 1 W, works with NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183-HS networks and offers hailer, foghorn and second-station options for both motor boats and sailing yachts.
25 W Output with Class D DSC -
The IC-M430E gives 25 W of transmit power for safety on the water. Built-in Class D DSC provides a distress button for sending a digital distress alert and direct calling to other stations.
Colour Display with Three Modes - The colour TFT LCD has a wide viewing angle and three display modes: Light, Dark and Night. A one-touch button switches between day and night use, and the white backlit keys make operation easier in low light.

Slim Body for Tight Spaces -
The body measures 202 x 82 x 52.6 mm, so the radio fits where depth behind the panel is limited and still leaves room for cable runs. Icom's drawing shows its depth next to the IC-M423GE and IC-M424G.
Simplified Flush Mounting -
The MFD-style mounting lets you screw the radio directly into place, and snap-on body covers hide the mounting hardware for a clean finish. Icom designed it for installations such as side pods on centre console hard tops. The MBA-18 flush mount gasket is supplied, and an optional flush mount kit covers conventional installations.
NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183-HS - Plug-and-play NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183-HS connections share data between the radio and other marine electronics. Connected to the Icom MA-510TR AIS transponder, the radio can send an individual DSC call to a selected AIS target. The IC-M430E itself has no built-in AIS receiver.

Built-in GNSS Receiver - The internal GNSS receiver and antenna track GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and SBAS satellites. Where reception is limited, for example when the radio is mounted inside a cabin, the optional UX-241 external GNSS antenna can be connected.
Microphone Options and Second Station - The supplied HM-205RB speaker microphone connects at the front panel or, with the optional OPC-1000 extension cable, at the rear. An optional HM-195 CommandMic (black HM-195GB or white HM-195GW) adds full remote control and intercom from a second position, such as the helm of a sailing yacht, with cable runs of up to 18.3 m using up to two OPC-1541 extension cables.
Hailer and Foghorn - With an external horn speaker such as the Icom SP-37, the IC-M430E provides a 25 W hailer, foghorn signals and a 16 W RX hailer for listening to radio traffic on deck.
What Else You Need - A marine VHF antenna with a PL-259 connector is required and is not included.
