Actisense OPTO-4 NMEA 0183 to RS232 Opto-Isolator
Use the Actisense OPTO-4 to connect compatible NMEA 0183/RS422 equipment to a PC or device with a standard RS232 DB9 port. The opto-isolated listener protects the receiving connection from ground loops; the transmitter has spike suppression, not the same isolation arrangement as USG-2.
Made for a serial port — The1.5m shielded cable terminates in a female DB9 connector and is powered from a compatible RS232 port. It is not a USB cable.
