Polishing pads and machines do not always share the same thread. The Stadea adapter has a female M14 base and a male 5/8"-11 top, so imperial-thread pads can go on metric tools.
What it brings together, for example:
- 5/8"-11 polishing pads
- Metric M14 polishing machines
- M14 grinders
- Wet polishing machines
Thanks to its centre hole, the adapter can also be used on wet polishing machines, which are typically fitted with diamond polishing wheels. It is a small part, but it saves buying a second set of pads to suit the thread of each machine. Before ordering, check the thread on both the machine spindle and the pad you want to use.
