Mastwalker
Mastwalker is a folding mast step: opened, it gives a firm foothold, and closed, it lies flat against the mast where halyards cannot catch on it.
Details of the folding step on offer include:
- Solid Almag 35 aluminium alloy, rated for a tip load of 318 kg (700 lb)
- A rattle-proof, low-windage design weighing 250 g, with a 15 x 3.5 cm rung
- Types A to E for different mast curvatures, from flat to a 100 mm radius
- Fixing with three 6 mm countersunk screws or rivets, which are not included
Fit a full set to climb the mast, a pair near the masthead as footrests, or one on the transom to help someone back aboard from the water.
