Icom HM-214H Waterproof Hand Microphone
The Icom HM-214H (#13) is the hand microphone supplied with the Icom IC-M804 MF/HF (SSB) marine radio, available here as a spare or replacement. It has four buttons, one of them programmable for quick access to a function, a curled cable and an 8-pin waterproof plug.
Waterproofing - Icom rates the microphone IPX8. Once it is connected, its protection is that of the radio: the IC-M804 remote controller is rated IPX7 (1 m for 30 minutes). If you prefer a telephone-style handset, the Icom HS-98 handset connects instead of the hand microphone.
