Uflex
A heavy hatch that drops without warning can easily catch fingers. Uflex 316L stainless gas springs hold cockpit lockers, hatches and engine access covers open. Uflex, of Busalla near Genoa, has handled sales and marketing for the Ultraflex Group since 1987; the group has served the marine industry since 1935.
The Uflex gas spring system on sale comprises, among other parts:
- AISI 316L gas springs in a choice of forces, with strokes from 100 to 250 mm
- M6 end fitting kits with an eye or a ball joint, sold in pairs
- Flat, bent forward and bent reverse stainless mounting brackets
Circlip connectors make the springs quick to fit and remove.
