Effebi
Effebi is an Italian ball valve manufacturer from Bovezzo, near Brescia. Its ISIS valve is made from DZR, a brass alloy that resists dezincification.
Valves and spares we stock take in items like:
- ISIS DZR full-bore ball valve for use as a seacock, with WRAS and DNV approval
- A replacement stainless steel handle for ISIS valves
- Delta three-way diverter valve, which switches flow between two lines without shutting it off, from 1/4" to 1"
In seawater, ordinary brass can lose its zinc and weaken. DZR resists this, and Effebi describes ISIS as suitable for sea water installations. It can also sit next to bronze without galvanic corrosion, and every Effebi valve is leak-tested at the factory.
