Blue Wave
Blue Wave began in a Copenhagen basement in 1932, and in 1958 it started making stainless thimbles and shackles at the request of Paul Elvstrøm. Still family-owned, the Danish company now makes polished AISI 316 stainless fittings for wire rigging in Haderslev and is ISO 9001 certified. Its swageless terminals go on by hand with the tools normally carried aboard, so a stay can be replaced far from a rigger.
Browse Blue Wave rigging:
- Cable terminals, including swageless cone, eye and fork terminals, replacement cones and terminals for swaging
- Rigging screws such as open-body chromed bronze and metric fork-fork models, plus UNF toggles
- Smart Pins: stainless split pins on a velcro strap for securing open-body rigging screws
Further Blue Wave fittings will be added as the range grows.
