Standard Horizon HX-760E Handheld VHF with Bluetooth

A rugged full featured floating handheld VHF designed for the rigours of both leisure and professional use. The only floating handeld with a die-cast body for survival both in the water and if dropped on the deck. The HX-760E floats with the screen and speaker up for easier location in the water. Features a built-in thermometer with on-screen temperature display as well as an SOS Strobe light. High power 6w transmit and high capacity 1150 mAh li_ion battery. Bluetooth headset option allows true hands free wireless VOX comunications.

High-power 6W output
The HX-760E has a top output power of 6 Watts, as well as three lower power settings, 1w, 2.5w and 5w, selectable when maximum range is not required.

Ergonomic shape and Die-cast chassis
The tough die-cast chassis gives maximum protection whether dropped in the water or on deck. The egonomic body provides for user-friendly operation even when wearing gloves.

Optional BH-2 Bluetooth VOX headset
The optional BH-2 Bluetooth headset and CD-40 charger provides true wireless hands free comunications. Adjustable settings allow push to talk and VOX (Voice operated trasmit) operation with 3 sensitivity levels.

Compatible with 3 models of speaker microphones
The HX-760E is compatible with any of the following speaker microphones: MH-73A4B Submersible Speaker Microphone, MH-57A4B Mini Speaker microphone with earphone jack, VC-24 Vox Headset.
