Allows charging of the the Standard Horizon handheld VHF radios from a 12V cigarette lighter socket on board or in a car. Used in place of the 220v cable the E-DC-19A connects to the desktop charger supplied with the VHF and allows the VHF to be charged away from mains electricity.
