Replacement Hammar A1 firing mechanism for the Pilot 150N, Optisafe, Pilot IOR & Pilot 275N hydrostatic Hammar lifejackets.
The Hammar hydrostatic firing mechanism should be changed if the built-in indicator shows a red dot, before the expiration date printed on the unit (recommended every 4-5 years) or if the red manual handle is missing. In the event of an automatic lifejacket inflation or when the CO2 gas cylinder is in bad condition a Plastimo re-arming kit should be used which includes a replacement 33g CO2 gas cylinder.
