Allows charging of the the Icom IC-M33, IC-M35 and IC-M71 handheld VHF radios from a 12V cigarette lighter socket on board or in a car. Used in place of the 220v cable the CP-23L (formally the CP-17L) connects to the desktop charger supplied with the VHF and allows the VHF to be charged away from mains electricity.
