With the latest electronic navigation software, digital charts and one or more LCD screens, we believe that on-board computers can provide an incredibly capable navigation system, more powerful and flexible than even the very top end multifunction plotters. Small enough to be installed in a locker behind the chart table and requiring very little power they are just as suitable aboard a sail-boat as aboard a commercial fishing boat. When connected to AIS, Navtex, RTTY, GPS, Radar and even an NMEA 2000 network we end up with a completely integrated navigation system. Of course once back in port we have email, internet, Skype, films and entertainment as well as many other applications, why not keep a PDF copy of on-board systems, just a few clicks away when we need information quickly. Designed to be directly connected 12v or 24v DC the Digital Yacht Aqua range have the Windows 7 operating system as well as the latest ultra low power Intel Atom processors.
